OUR 'TOLEDO' COUSINS
Wasyl and Mary Krochmalny had six children. The oldest was Jay, who is the father of me, and my sisters Jane Carol, Julia Vivian, and Violet Cora Krochmalny.
Jay's oldest sister was Julia. He told me that Julia was born at home, and he learned how to whistle on the day she was born. Julia married Ollie Heltmann and they had Norma Jean.

Kaczmarek, oldest son of Millie, Jay's middle sister. 2003
Next came Millie, I think - ? - who married Mr. Kaczmarek and had Butchie and Nancy. Later she married Chet, and had Bobby Grochowski.
Summer 1951, I would guess - Mary Charlotte with Father Jay Krochmalny. Behind
is cousin Nancy Kaczmarek in pigtails. She is sister of Anthony (aka. Tony or
Butchie) and daughter of Jay's sister, Millie. Next is Burton Lee Rogers (or
'Buster') sitting on his mother's lap. She is Aunt Jean Earl Rogers, older sister
of our mother, Virginia. Buster was born a few weeks before his cousin Mary.
He has two siblings, Leslie and Susan Marie.
This is a picture of my aunts and uncles, the Krochmalny sisters with their husbands: Louie Polyosko with his wife Elaine, Chet Grochowski next to sister-in-law Julia, and her sister Millie next to brother-in-law Ollie Heltmann. Looks like they have been having a luau!
Then came Nicholas Michael - Uncle Mike - who married Aunt Cecilia and had Nick, Bernie and John.
Youngest son Emil married Betty Bork, the mother of many. They will soon have their own page: Norma Jean K., Barbara, Steven, Millie, Julia, Charles, Laura, Michael, Elliot & Elinore the twins, and Emil. Then little Paul, who died as an infant.

Elaine is the youngest sibling of the Krochmalnys. She just celebrated her 80th birthday. She married Louie Polyosko, and they had three girls - Janet, Jo Ann and Jennie.

Louie Polyosko. Elaine is the youngest of the children of Wasyl
and Mary Krochmalny.
Michael Simon Krochmal, in Potala, China 2006. Michael lives in Melbourne, Australia and was born in Berlin, Germany. We figure our great grandfathers were brothers, therefore we share great-great grandparents. That is, Grandpa Wasyl Krochmalny's father 'The Warrior' had a brother who was father to Michael's Grandfather Simon Krochmal. Got that?
